I’m not a Durant fan. Maybe if the team stayed in Seattle things might have been different. I loved Kemp and Payton so was a Seattle fan because of them. I think he takes way more crap than he deserves. Rarely do you get chips without at least 2 stars. The only recent one that even sniffed one is Miami with Buckets. Especially in this day and age. Maybe Dallas with Dirk. He had Kidd and the Matrix but they were both at the tail end of their careers. There are quite a few that deserve the same hate. I think his biggest detraction is his attitude, lack of defense, and basic ignorance when it comes to being a complete player and teammate. He’s never made his teammates better. I don’t hate Kevin Durant. I just hate what he did to the league during that time. He is still human with feelings like you and I and at the end of the day, it is just a game and he was just trying to make money. My best and favorite version of him will always be when he was on Oklahoma City and my opinion on him will never be the same again, but I definitely don’t hate him. defense aint rewarding in NBA. It does damage more than good specifically in season games. Talent and skills + Ice thin calls on defense = No defense games = Higher offense = NBA Season games. This is basic economics.

Kevin Durant a GOAT? GTFOH He can score...... He's often ambivalent on defense. His rings? Only when he went to an already championship level team. Wherever he's gone post helping CURRY'S team, they haven't done much. I remember him deciding between GS and Boston. If he came to Boston and succeeded, he could have been a GOD. But no, he took the easiest road possible, and I had no respect for that. He's a great scorer, and potentially a great piece of a championship team. But I don't see that caliber a team being built primarily around him.
